Tomorrow we start putting in the shower for the new Hoag Room.
The Hoag room will be located on the main floor with a private entrance from
the veranda. A king size sleigh bed is on the way and Marla is going in to Ann
Arbor shortly to pick out tile that will compliment the style of the Queen’s

The Queen's Residence Bed & Breakfast Receives 2013 Best of Ypsilanti Award
Ypsilanti Award Program Honors the AchievementYPSILANTI April 29, 2013 -- For the second consecutive year, The Queen's Residence Bed & Breakfast has been selected for the 2013 Best of Ypsilanti Award in the Bed & Breakfast Accommodations category by the Ypsilanti Award Program.
Each year, the Ypsilanti Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Ypsilanti area a great place to live, work and play.
Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4%) 2013 Award recipients qualified as Two-Time Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The Queen’s Residence Bed and Breakfast In Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti
Michigan invites you to sample one of Marla’s great breakfast recipes:
Quick and easy we are sure the Pecan Pie
muffins will be a hit with the Whole family.
Enjoy:
Pecan Pie Muffins
1 cup
packed brown sugar
¾ cup flour
1 cup
chopped pecans
1/3 cup
butter, melted
2 eggs
beaten
Heat oven to 350 degrees Spray mini muffin pan with Pam
Beat together butter and eggs. Stir in flour, brown sugar
and pecans
Fill muffin pan ¾ full
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Remove to wire rack and cool
Yield: 30 mini muffins

New Queen's Residence Bed and Breakfast Web Site
Last week we launched a new website that includes support
for smart phones and tablet devices.
Today I am adding a link to Google blogger to the website.
In the near future we will be upgrading existing rooms and
adding two new rooms to our bed and breakfast making your trip to the Ann Arbor
area more enjoyable
